Over the course of more than 27 years, N.C.C. Management and Development Co., Ltd., in conjunction with various stakeholders from the public and private sectors, especially the Thai Red Cross Society, has orchestrated a momentous running event known as the "12 August Half Marathon Bangkok." This esteemed annual event is dedicated to commemorating Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother which all the proceeds after expenses is donated to support the vital work being carried out the Queen Sirikit Centre for Breast Cancer, under the auspices of the Thai Red Cross Society.
In 2019, the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center (QSNCC) temporarily ceased operations to initiate a comprehensive reconstruction and enhancement project encompassing the entirety of its facilities. However, while the main building underwent renovation, the surrounding area and the parking lot behind it remained accessible. Consequently, the Organizing Committee made the collective decision to organize the 27th of 12 Aug Half Marathon Bangkok on August 12, 2019, marking the final edition of the event prior to the extensive construction phase, which spanned more than three years.
On September 12, 2022, the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center (QSNCC) unveiled its revitalized appearance, guided by the vision of being the epitome of The Ultimate Inspiring World Class Platform for All. The QSNCC now boasts an expanded area totaling 300,000 square meters, incorporating 50 additional meeting rooms, an impressive event space measuring 78,500 square meters, and the Bangkok Active Lifestyle Mall (BALM) spanning 12,000 square meters. Furthermore, it offers parking facilities capable of accommodating 3,000 vehicles, thereby catering to an over of 100,000 visitors each day.
Continuing the legacy into the year 2024, the organizing committee proudly hosted the 29th "12 Aug Half Marathon Bangkok 2024" on Monday, August 12, 2024. This commemorative event, taking place after a hiatus of three years, stands as a profound tribute to Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother.
Objectives :

3. Campaign for Thai people to exercise for health.

COMPETITION RULES
The competition is governed by the rules of the AAT and WA and all rulings will be final. Competitors must be in the correct age category. To help determine your proper age, minus 2024 from your year of birth. Winners must present a proper ID, either a passport or identification card that shows one's picture and year of birth, or they will not be entitled to a prize. Runners must go through all checkpoints and be able to produce the item that is given them to show they have passed each checkpoint. Bib numbers must be affixed to the front of the race shirt. Race officials have the right to not issue prizes if people are not in the right age category or if they're running for another person. This competition does not in any way support competitors selling their bib numbers to other competitors. Personal information will not be changed once it's submitted and anyone running under someone else's bib number will automatically be disqualified from receiving prizes. The registration event cannot be refunded or changed later.
SEEVICE FOR RUNNERS
Free parking lot for participants. On race day morning from 01.30-8.30 a.m., Please bring your parking ticket to be scanned at the race management counter. parking Please enter through Gate 1 only on the morning of the race day. After the release of the runners in Fun Run 6 K from 5:45 - 7:00 a.m. on Ratchadapisek Road in front of the convention center. will be closed to 100% traffic, cars cannot pass Cars leaving the Convention Center Must go out through the Tobacco Office - Soi Tobacco Factory - Rama 4 Road only Gate 2 is the finish line). Absolutely stop parking on Ratchadapisek Road. Parking lot in the building 3,000 cars (high-roof cars, vans, buses have parking spaces) Parking for 500 motorcycles EXPO DAY 10-11 August 2024, free parking for 2 hours, no parking card scanning required. After running organizing committee has prepared an area in the building to accommodate all runners.
